Approx. Drying Time:
-area may be walked on approx. 4 to 6 hrs after completion
-area may be driven on approx. 3 to 4 days after completion. (cars, golf carts, motorcycles…)
Caution:
-stained surfaces can be slippery when wet
Battery acid:
-protect against battery acid by placing something under batteries to catch overflow when charging
Chemicals:
-do not use any solvent-based chemicals such as paint thinners or mineral spirits on your surface
avoid spilling gasoline on surface; if spill does happen let the gasoline evaporate; do not attempt to wipe spill
Fertilizer Stains:
-avoid sprinkling any fertilizer granules or liquid on your surface; if fertilizer stains happen rinse with water as soon as possible to avoid potential fertilizer stains (rinse away from the surface toward the grass or street)
Reseal:
-should be resealed every 1 to 2 yrs for a stained surface to maintain overall look and integrity
-should be resealed every 2 to 3 yrs for a textured surface to maintain overall look and integrity
Rubber Mats and Rugs:
-do not place rubber-backed rugs or door mats on the surface
-use only straw-, hemp-, or canvas-backed rugs
Tire Marks:
-tire marks should wash off with a mild detergent
Washing and Maintenance:
-recommend: every 3 months, wash with mild detergent, such as a liquid laundry detergent, use soft scrub brush to gently scrub stubborn stains, immediately rinse with water
-for harder to clean areas: use Simple Green and soft scrub brush, rinse thoroughly. do not overuse
-if using power washer: avoid spraying one area for extended amount of time
